Alder Hey Childrens Hospital

Alder Hey Children's Hospital Visited with: Alex Visit Date: August 2016 Please Note: Entry is always through an open access point and not by forcing our way in….. We are explorers, not vandals. My Visit I have to say that this visit one was of mixed emotions, the deadly quiet of this once bustling hospital allowed the mind to wander and wander it did. I could not help but feel sad at the thought of the pain, heartache and worry that so many children, parents and staff will have had to bare here over the years..... But then, a feeling of happiness, a happiness that a child is getti[...]

Information In 1882 construction of Sagrada Família commenced under architect Francisco Paula de Villar until 1883, when Gaudí became involved when Francisco resigned as the head architect. Taking over the project, Gaudí transformed it with his architectural and engineering style, combining Gothic and curvilinear Art Nouveau forms. Portrait Shoot - Dark and Moody

Photographer: Alan Duggan assisted by Alex Burnell Model: Sarah Jane Crawford Location The building was built in 1815 and was used for assemblies, dance balls and parties by the so called 'high society'. The feeling I wanted the images to portray was not set in stone, however, I[...]

History To keep this location safe from vandals and thieves all I will say is that the church opened it's doors in the late 1880's. My Visit For those who know me or read my reports you will know that I love churches and I was hoping this one would not disappoint. Although the church is not as ornate in design as some of the others I have been to the altars are by far the best I have seen[...]

Commercial Shoot - Creative Cupcakes

I contacted Georgia to see if she would be interested in having some photos taken to help promote her newly opened shop, Creative Cupcakes. To my delight Georgia was interested and we arranged a date. What I was aiming for was to supply Georgia with a set of photographs that she would be able use for promoting her business via social media, leaflets and cards. The style of photos that I aimed for were a lifestyle feel with Georgia at work in her beautiful little shop. I feel the shoot went really well and I am very happy that Georgia is pleased with the end results. I would highly recomm[...]

Lifestyle Shoot - Fleetwood Fishermen

I had been looking to do a lifestyle shoot aboard the Sursum Corda aka Rio for around 6 months, however, finding the correct weather and at the time I was planning to shoot was all down to Mother Nature and boy, did she make me wait. The conditions I had been waiting for was to have a fairly calm sea because I did not want to end up with a bunch of blurred photographs due to the motion of the boat throwing myself and the camera around. Also, I was hoping to have nice clouds in the sky with some nice sunlight. To me there is nothing worse than an empty bland sky, clouds add so much more to a[...]
