Club Competition – PDI 2 Results 2018

As some of you may be aware I am a member of the Poulton Photographic Society. During each club year they host internal competitions for PDI (Projected Digital images) and prints.

Each year we get the chance to enter 3 images per PDI competition, so, over the year that is a total of 9 images. You can score points for having an image that gains a commended (2 Points), highly commended (4 Points), 3rd (6 Points), 2nd (8 Points) or 1st place (10 Points).

This year I am trying to retain the trophy for the ‘Advanced Colour Class’ PDI which I won last year.

Last night (11th January 2018) was the second results evening for the PDI competions and I have to say it was a successful evening for me.

In the first competition I scored a 2nd place with the image ‘Hello Mr Churchill’ which gave me 8 points. (Image Below)

Last night In the second competition I fared a little better scoring a commended, second place and First place.

The images below are from the second results evening.

Memory Corner – Commended (2 Points)

Sir Winston Churchill – Second Place (8 Points)

Time To Go – First Place (10 Points)

I am very happy with my results so far as they have put me in good stead to hopefully retain the trophy for another year with one more PDI competition to go….. Fingers crossed.

Alan Duggan
