Commercial Shoot - No Angel Boutique

I was contacted by Caroline of No Angel Boutique in Cleveleys about the possibility of me photographing some of her clothing range for her new shop. After meeting to discuss what Caroline was looking for we agreed to go ahead and we set a date for the shoot. The shoot I feel was a success and we managed to photograph the 8 outfits for the shops website. We photographed each item until both Caroline and myself was happy with the detail, pose and lighting before moving on to the next outfit. I really wanted to make sure that I captured a lot of detail in the photos from head to toe so that[...]

Portrait Shoot - Dark and Moody

Photographer: Alan Duggan assisted by Alex Burnell Model: Sarah Jane Crawford Location The building was built in 1815 and was used for assemblies, dance balls and parties by the so called 'high society'. Over the years the building has been used for Weddings, Drama Performances as well as being used as a home base for Societies. Sadly the building has been disused since the late 1990's and is in real need of repair. Shoot Ideas I had an idea in my head that I wanted to create a set of dark moody images. The feeling I wanted the images to portray was not set in stone, however, I[...]

Commercial Shoot – Glazey Days

Glazey Days was established in 2007 and until recently the business was located on the Esplanade in Fleetwood. In 2016, Glazey Days started work on renovating a new premises located in a prime position next door to The North Euston Hotel and still only a stones throw away from the beach. The new premises is far larger than that of the older building which has definitely allowed the company to expand and offer much more to their ever growing customer base. Yesterday, the 4th February 2017, I was given the opportunity to photograph the new Party Room. There was an 8th birthday party ta[...]

Tasha also told me that she is planning to redecorate the cafe soon and put a new fresh look to this well known Fleetwood cafe. The Corner Cafe is located in a prime position on the beach front just across from the Ferry terminal and amusements. Outside seati[...]

The Yellow Pipe Church

The Yellow Pipe Church Visited with: Alex Burnell Visit date: August 2016 Please Note: Entry is always through an open access point and not by forcing our way in….. We are explorers, not vandals. History To keep this location safe from vandals and thieves all I will say is that the church opened it's doors in the late 1880's. My Visit For those who know me or read my reports you will know that I love churches and I was hoping this one would not disappoint. Although the church is not as ornate in design as some of the others I have been to the altars are by far the best I have seen[...]

Commercial Shoot - Creative Cupcakes

I contacted Georgia to see if she would be interested in having some photos taken to help promote her newly opened shop, Creative Cupcakes. To my delight Georgia was interested and we arranged a date. What I was aiming for was to supply Georgia with a set of photographs that she would be able use for promoting her business via social media, leaflets and cards. The style of photos that I aimed for were a lifestyle feel with Georgia at work in her beautiful little shop. I feel the shoot went really well and I am very happy that Georgia is pleased with the end results. I would highly recomm[...]
